Being as this is a Tide product, I really expected a change in my washing machine. I used it two consecutive weeks to try and get the moldy smell out of the washing machine. It still smells. Since it is a top loading machine, water tends to sit in it and now, it smells like mold. Thanks for nothing, Tide!

I picked up a 3-pack of this at the grocery store for $5.50 on a whim. My washer didn't smell awful (like the hobo in a previous review) just a little funky. I'd done a bleach-only wash a few times, but it got funky again, and until then I had to deal with strong bleach smell.
I threw a pack of this in the wash and let it do its thing over night. The next morning, everything in the laundry room smelled fresh and clean. I even stuck my head in the washer and there's not a trace of funk. Highly recommended product here!

I bought this product thinking that Tide made wonderful cleaning products. But I extremely disappointed. Don't waste your money. It did absolutely nothing.

This stuff is great! We used it once a week for three weeks and not only does the washer not smell like we washed a dead hobo in it, it actually smells like Tide!
I would not, however, pay more than seven bucks for a 3-count box (or $21 for the "three pack" of 3-count boxes) as you can pick it up at any local Home Depot for that price.

I just have to say, I did not have a problem with a "smelly" washer...until I used this product!! I threw some clothes of my nephews in to wash, and I did not know he had "messed" his undies a bit. I sent the load through several cycles with hot water with baking soda along with my regular detergent. They came out clean (my washer did not smell). I was getting laundry soap the next week, and came across this product. I figured it would be a good idea after what my washer went through the week before. I now have a mildew smell in my washing machine. I know it is not from the load of my nephews, because it did not have a mildew odor to it until after I put this product in. I now have to get a product to fix what this did to my washer!!
